Maeda is Working Hard in the Sunshine State

This Maeda Mini Crane is getting its sea legs while working out in the Florida sun. Recently purchased by Benton & Sons Construction Company, Inc., the Maeda CC1485 Mini Crawler Crane was put to work rebuilding a marina in Punta Gorda, FL.

The complicated project required the company to secure the CC1485 to a barge to access construction areas by water, which was possible because of the machine’s 98” Body Width. Still, because of the CC1485’s 13,220 lb. Max Lift Capacity, Benton & Sons had plenty of power to complete its job.

Established in 1928 and headquartered in Fort Myers, Florida, Benton Industries is the fourth generation of family owned businesses with over 90 years of Civil Construction, Marine Construction, Material Sales and Manufacturing Excellence.
