When every second counts, Hospitals and Law Enforcement turn to Emergency Medical Air Transport to get patients to the medical attention they desperately require as quickly as possible. But when the heliport at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, PA needed to be reconstructed, crews turned Maeda Mini Cranes to ensure the job was done quickly and correctly.
Because of where the heliport is located at the hospital, Steel Supplier steel fabricators required a machine that could provide powerful lifting in a confined area.
Provided by Able Equipment, two Maeda MC305 Mini Crawler Cranes were disassembled on the ground, then lifted to the roof using a construction hoist. Once on the roof, the machines were reassembled and then used to perform tandem lifts for the steel erection.
